Take a offer...give an offer

As many of you know..We got an offer on our house on Thursday. We were so excited. A few days prior we had a couple put in an offer to rent to own. This couple has had an interest for months now. Right before the rent to own offer, showings were picking up and our realtor suggested we wait a few weeks before accepting.

Around this time (beginning of November) we were trying to figure out what would happen after my job stopped paying for temporary quarters..Which was set to expire the end of December. Sean thought one of us might be able to borrow against our retirement so that we could go ahead and get settled in a house and figure out a way to carry two mortgages.

Well as usual God came through and less than a week later we had an offer in hand. And less than a week after we put an offer on a house! Yes you read that right...We have an offer on a house!!

We are so excited! Here are a few pictures. God is so great!!

Better than a cup of coffee....

Honestly this morning was almost like every morning. Although it did feel a little lighter with a few less tantrums, meltdowns (sometimes my own) and arguments (I mean, someone has to feed the dog).

The morning began with Sean waking me up (twice). Once I was up, we heard a door slam and then crying. Instead of opening the door, Seth closed it on himself. Sean quickly went to get him and in doing so got the first cuddle of the day (I was circling them trying to get in on it to no avail). So while they cuddled I started breakfast for the munchkin. A few minutes later I gave him a waffle, cup of applesauce and some OJ (cuddle time over). They commenced to making my breakfast, but not before Sean reminded me that I promised to walk Zeva (I hate apartment living). So dog walked...trying again to make my breakfast. Sidenote: I have to mention that I had the most awful sneezing fit and Seth now says bless you...so cute!

Finished my breakfast, only to have the munchkin demand something. He was very adamant about whatever it was he wanted...and I could not figure it out. He was escalating, so I knew I had to think quick. "Cereal, do you want cereal?" Munchkin: "Yeah" ::we both do a happy dance::  The dog sneezes and Seth says, "Bless you Zeva" (OMG, too cute) I proudly take the cereal over and he cries and pushes it away...huh? But you said you wanted cereal. ok, he's escalating again, I'll just take it away. He gets madder and my breakfast is getting cold. I set it down and run for the kitchen...all seems to calm down. I sit and eat my breakfast, before I go to get dressed we have a little tickle fest!

He comes into the bathroom and see Sean and I brushing our teeth and he wants to bbbrush. The ways he says it, you can barely hear the "r" but it does not sound like bush...too cute! And we give him his toothbrush with his kids toothpaste and he actually brushes..I mean instead of sucking off the toothpaste.

Sean and Seth cuddling one evening
Sean leaves to get dressed and Seth follows him. Once again he requests to see Airplanes (even thought it's playing in the living room). So Sean puts on Disney. Seth seems content until the first commercial comes on. You see, we don't watch alot of live TV, so he is not used to commercials. We watch prime alot with him. His shows Dinosaur train and Thomas the train (notice the pattern) are on there and commercial free. So when he saw a commercial he actually became distraught. He was like, " Daddy off." Sean was like, "yea buddy, your show went off but it'll come back on". And then there was the whining and general unhappiness until the show came back on.

Sean then went to get him dressed, which is usually harder than wrestling an oiled up 500lb pig. But this morning was not too bad..well not at least until Seth saw me put on my necklace. He said, "mine" and commenced to trying to pull it off my neck. So being the sucka that I am, I took it off and put it around his neck. He wore it for a few minutes and gave it back (who knows what goes on in a toddler's mind..guess he is reminding me of who really runs the show).

Picking Seth up from his first day at daycare.

A few more cuddles, one shoe on the baby, calling the dog so I can walk it, toddler begging for a snack, other shoe on, where's the baby's jacket, calling the dog once more, baby crying for mommy, baby crying for stickers, where's the dang dog, where's my keys, take the dog out, more crying from baby, baby wants mommy, put him in the carseat in Dad's car and I'm off.

All of that and I made it to work on time...early even...the first one even!! I count that as a great morning and certainly better than a cup of coffee.

Announcing!

Looks who's becoming a big brother!

We are so excited to be growing our family. We think Seth will be the best big brother! We'll keep you posted. Overall the pregnancy has not been too bad. I had no morning sickness with Seth..and with this little one I stayed drinking ginger ale for 2-3 weeks. No vomiting..just nauseous. My energy levels feel closer to normal... and I already have a little bump :)

Day out with Thomas

This past weekend we room the opportunity to go see Thomas the Train. Seth is in a train phase and we thought he would enjoy it.
In the end we probably could have just went and looked at Thomas because that's all Seth wanted to do. We went to leave too get something to eat and he fell out...ran back to the gate and just stared. Which when you think about makes sense. Can you imagine seeing a life size Thomas the Train...it is pretty cool.
Sunday we visited the same church...Which was nice. By the end of the day we ended up going to two different parks which Seth loved!

Des Moines Weekender....

There is so much to do in Des Moines...seriously!! At the same time I find myself thinking how different people back home would enjoy the activities...and going to invite them and remembering that they are miles away :(

This weekend was a busy one. We started off on Friday night by going to a long time coworkers house for a cookout. I have worked with Troy over the years and we have always gotten along. Thursday he asked if Sean and I would come over for a cookout with another person who works for USDA. We went and had a blast. First off the bacon wrapped breakfast brats were the best ever! Coupled with fun conversation…and we had a blast. Troy has two little ones (3 yo girl and 5 yo boy) and the other couple had two boys (4yo and 6yo). They played with Seth really well… and Seth seemed to have a blast.

Saturday I started the day off at the YMCA. We recently joined, so I took a morning BodyPump class (weightlifting /cardio). I took Seth with me (to give Dad a break) and he fell asleep on the way back home. After his nap we headed out to Blank park Zoo.
Walnut Creek Family YMCA

Blank Park Zoo is a quaint little zoo with big personality! We loved it and will be going back. We got to see the seals perform, fed koi, got to see all types of animals (and some of the most active big cats we have ever seen). Most zoos we have been to the tigers and leopards are always asleep. Not here! We also took a train ride around the zoo! After two hours I was beat. Although I hate to complain since I was not the one carrying a 30lb toddler most of the time. This zoo also had a small park with slides and a petting zoo. If you don’t know Seth is obsessed with parks and slides. We like taking him to the park but know it will be a fight when  its time to go. Anyway…going to the zoo was fun! The great thing is we did not get to see everything and will be going back.

Sunday came around and we started the day by going to church. I’m just going to be honest…if you did not know, Iowa is not very diverse. I know this seems like a weird place to talk about this….but stick with me. On a day to day basis I see very few people of color ….I am only being truthful. So imagine my surprise when we visited a church that was more diverse than the ones we have been to in North Carolina! I have to say that it is a beautiful thing!!!. I did not realize how deprived I have been in the two weeks I’ve been here…lol!  Don’t get me wrong, I love all people…AND there is something to diversity. Anyway, the church service was great and really fed my soul. A few hours later I went to Zumba at the YMCA.

I’m not going to say much about Zumba…but I will say this. The class started with 15 people and ended with 3…yes 3!! That boggled my mind. I still don’t quite know what happened. I do know that the teacher was more interested in looking at herself in the mirror. I felt like I was intruding on her dancing with herself. At the end it was just an Asian girl (who had nice moves..I was secretly battling her…hey it helped me burn calories!) and a woman who was dancing to her own tune. She was always doing her own thing…which was not too bad. Later that afternoon we went to Jester Park Natural Playscape.

Google maps said it would take about 30 minutes to get to Jester Park. I think we got there quicker than that…but oh my! We got to the park entrance and both Sean and I were pretty sure than it took an half hour to get to the actual playscape. At times as we traveled the windy road we thought we were lost…but every now and then we would run into a sign that let us know we were on the right track. We FINALLY made it there. The playscape was nice. There are no man made structures, it is all natural. Seth mostly enjoyed the wading pool….me not so much. There were these round rocks at the bottom that hurt my feet. The water was ice cold and I was on alert trying to keep Seth from falling, trying not to push anyone’s kid over and trying not to get splashed by kids throwing stuff in the water. NOT FUN! Finally I said the magic word …wanna go get on the slide? Seth’s face lit up and he was ready. We then headed over to the regular park.

Overall it was a good weekend. It is always nice when we can get out as a family

Two sides of a coin...

This move has been like two sides of a coin. Right before we moved, we got so many questions..one of which was, "Are you excited?". It was a hard question to answer. I think people assume because we were moving willingly that we must be excited to get out of dodge.

I look at our life in Raleigh like I would a tree. There we found an environment that was rich in love and friendship. And so in that "soil" we were able to put down strong deep roots. Hey, we even had a little sapling..lol! He too was being loved on, taught, molded. So were we excited to leave friends who became family, neighbors who became like aunts/uncles and grandparents to Seth (yes, you know who we are talking about)...heck no! Were we excited to leave one of my best childhood friends (I can't even count the years but at least  2 decades)....heck no!! The list truly goes on! There are so many of you that we truly love and adore...and it was anything but exciting to leave (I cry even as I type this...which will be weird if anyone comes in my office).  So we left Raleigh with a heavy heart.

So that was the sad side of the coin.

Now for the excitement! Seth and I flew into Des Moines. In spite of the two hour delay in Charlotte, the flight went over without a hitch. After Seth and I left, Sean and his Dad spent the day cleaning. I was hoping they would be on the road by 12 noon but they did not get on the road until 6pm...wowzers! As soon as I got here I noted how nice folks were. Even getting off the plane a guy offered to carry my backpack/diaper bag. Then when I had to stand in line to wait for the stroller (and he had to go pick up his luggage) someone else offered to take the bag for me. And this went on and on.

Then Sean finally got here on Thursday and we went to dinner with his parents. Getting a first glimpse of Des Moines was exhilarating. The following day we went to look at apartments and went to the city of West Des Moines. Sean and I agreed that the area looked like a cross between Southpoint and Crossroads with the combined size of both (I mean the city has two very nice malls).

My new office
The view from my office

The pic on the left and bottom are from the sculpture garden. The pic of Seth is at The Legion Park

I started work on Monday. I admit I was not sure how I would feel about my boss. His emails have always been short and direct (no greetings). He never reached out to me between when I got hired and when I moved. But man he is an awesome guy. My first day as I was talking immediately he asked what my son's name (small detail but tells me a lot about a person). He did the same about Sean's name. He sat listening about our trip and my family. Reminded me that I could take off as much as I needed to get settled. One day I was cold and he brought me a lab coat to help keep me warm. I know that I am going to enjoy working with him! And the same goes for the office folks.

My guys sleeping (I sneak pics before I leave for work)

I don't want to paint a rosy picture though. I mean things are going great and that's what I like to focus on. But there are so eh moments. Like not having an apartment and trying to extend our hotel stay only to find out that all the hotels were booked solid. Talking about a bit of stress. Today I am sporting a rash over most of my body and I am pretty sure the stress of not having somewhere to stay is contributing to that. I am so ready to settle somewhere and plant my roots again.

This post has become super long...so I'll stop here. But I'll make sure to blog more frequently than I have been. In the meantime keep us in your prayers.

A View of the Outer Banks...

Last weekend we went to the outer banks for the first time. We got a groupon in November thinking that it would be warm...not get in the ocean warm but warm. Well we were partly right. We got there on Saturday and it was not cold...but to windy to play on the beach. Instead we went to a nearby park to play and fly Seth's kite. I had not flown a kite in over a decade (man it feels old to say that). It was too fun, Seth running around...holding his kite at times. We had a blast!

We had dinner that night at a popular diner, Kill Devils Hills Grill. Very Yum! The next day we started the day at the aquarium. Oh my! Seth absolutely loved it. As soon as we got there, we pretty much had to pry him from the first tank of fish. His next favorite was the otters. After that he just ran around like a mad man...lol! Overall the whole family had a blast.

We did a few other things, like go see the Bodie Island Lighthouse. Somehow I developed a fascination whit lighthouses and wanted to see at least one on this trip. They are just so beautiful! We also spent some time on the beach later Saturday evening. It was so fun to see Seth play in the sand (although he did not want it on his hands). The weather was perfect!

I won't say that vacationing with a toddler is easy (like the dance party at 2am) but spending time with the family is a joy. After we left, we were just so happy to have made more beautiful memories. That's what it's all about, right? Of course it is :)

Better than a BigFoot Sightings

Sunday Sean and I saw something akin to a bigfoot sighting. I mean it was something that is whispered about, something that if you look on snopes it listed as plausible. It is as exciting as seeing the lochness monster but as scary as running into the abominable snowman..it's the 4 HOUR NAP!

It all began Sunday on our way back home from church. I turned to check on Seth and he was out. I kicked myself becasue I forgot to remove his jacket before putting him in the car seat...which meant that I might wake him when I took it off to put him in his crib. Because I have tried twice to transfer him from car to crib with no luck, I passed this task to Sean.

Once we got home, I decided it might be best to try teamwork. So I helped Sean take the coat off and he went upstairs with Seth. As I prayed that he would come down without Seth in his arms, he emerged..VICTORIOUS!

I was not counting on a long nap, so I decided to wash a load of clothes and Sean opted for a nap. After putting some clothes in the washing machine, I sat and relaxed with a book. After about an hour, Sean emerged from his nap. Now Seth went down at 11am and once 1pm came I just knew he would be up. I was using him as an indicator for when I should get dressed for my 1:30pm Zumba class. When 1:15pm rolled around, I gave Sean instructions for lunch and got dressed for my class. I happily went to Zumba knowing my little one would be awake when I got back home.

I got back home at around 2:45pm. When I came in the house I looked past Sean, and then listened....no Seth. "Where's Seth?"

Sean then told me that he was still asleep. WHAT?! Have you checked on him. Sean told me he had checked on him several times. finally at 3pm we decided to wake him up. Once awake we checked for a fever...but he seemed fine. He even went to bed on time.

We are not sure what cause such a long nap. Unfortunately we were unprepared for it and therefore did not take full advantage. Honestly it worried me more than made me happy. I'm sure it's as elusive as finding bigfoot...but that's ok with us.

Blessing and a curse...

So I am going to go ahead and put it out there...I am Seth's favorite. Hey, don't blame him..he's too young to know not to play favorites. And do you blame the kid? I carried him, went through 33 hours of labor and breastfed him..I can be the favorite.

Some of you may still not be convinced. How do I know I'm his favorite? Well on multiple occasions Seth has literally mushed Sean in the face trying to get out of his arms into mine....point made. Oh and I can't leave a room without Seth crying for me. So this FACT that I am his favorite made me smile on the inside initially..and then just become down right smug.... until now.

This favoritism has it's drawbacks. I know I know...how can cuddling with the epitome of cuteness have a drawback? Oh believe me, it does. I did not realize this until recently. I left Sean and Seth at the house to get to work on time...once at work I asked Sean how it went getting out of the house. He was like, "It was perfect". Oh, ok. Did he fuss any? (I'm thinking sure he did...he was fussing for me to pick him up as I was leaving). Sean: Nope, he just hung out in his high chair and ate the rest of his cheerios. Now this is a problem. Because I was alone with him a few days earlier and he was fussing for me to pick him up.

Another example is pick up from daycare. I walk in the room and Seth  begins to fuss..IMMEDIATELY! There have been times where I watch him through the door and all is right in his world. I walk in..and I can't say hi to anyone...do anything until I pick him up. One day the teacher said how she had to remind Seth on multiple occasions that he is not her father...because he would fuss to get picked up. See y'all think we mean crying...I don't. He does this grunt thing that is akin to fussing...lol! So Sean picks him up and what does he get? A smile! Yes, Seth smiles when dad comes to get him. So I have to rethink this favorite thing..I don't think it is all it's cracked up to be :)

On another note..here are a few pics from Seth's 1 year photo shoot

Furlough Diary - Day 2 & 3

I did not do much on yesterday (day 2). I started the morning getting the guys out of the house. Then I went to a doctor's appt (one that was 5 months late). I saw the OB that helped me through my preeclampsia drama and took her some pics of Seth..and she was so excited! She then quickly said how excited she was for the next baby...huh?! I tried to change the subject...but nope she was not hearing it. I then asked for a year prescription for birth control (so leave my uterus alone!).

I then went to my job (shhhh!). I actually had some stuff I needed to pick up and I wanted to check on my collegues who are "essential". I hung out with them for a few hours. I then went to the grocery store and home to do some planning for Seth's birthday party. I went to order invitations that I scoped out on Etsy only to find out the seller was on vacation. AHHHHH!!! I have to get these invites out soon. So my wonderful hubby made a duplicate...and I promise they are almost identical. I actually like his better. I will do a seperate post with some pics.

I then went to pick up Seth. I have to admit that one of the things I am debating is what to do with Seth and daycare. If this shutdown drags out I don't know if I should take him out of daycare. I will have to talk to the directors and make sure they wont charge us an application fee...and make sure we won't lose our spot. I honestly don't think it will be easy...but if this is longer than 2 weeks...we might have to take our chances.

Today is kinda light as well. I will be cleaning around the house. I made muffins last night for Seth's teachers and some cupcakes for my co-workers. I'll drop those off and then pick Seth up. Sean and I have a date night tonight, so I figured I would pick Seth up early and take him to the park and then for some frozen yogurt.

Government Shutdown: Furlough Diary - Day 1

Well as many of you know...I am a federal worker. Actually many of you likely kinda knew that but forgot. Anywho...I am on furlough. I count this as day 1..but this is actually the second day of the furlough. I won't go into all the details of the gov shutdown (e.g. how many times it has happened...what it means, etc.). I will say that it makes me SOOO mad that our government officials can cause so much disruption to so many lives AND still keep their jobs.

Anyway, what am I doing in my "free" time? Well today I dropped Seth off at school. This was a treat since Sean usually drops him off. I hung out with him and his class for about an hour and then went to a spin class at the Kraft Family YMCA. I thought I could get a free guest pass...only to find out they don't exist. The lady was nice though and just let me do the class.

After spin I went home and changed clothes so I could make my 1pm hair appt. Before going to my hair appt though..I just had to stop and see Seth sleeping. Other than my stalker tendencies...I love to watch him sleep. Although neither of those was the reason I stopped by. I stopped because I wanted to see him in his cot. He just transitioned to the toddler room...and they don't sleep in cribs there..and they have a structured nap time...neither of which I could imagine. So I went by and lo and behold, Seth was the first one down for his nap and was sleeping peacefully.

After I got my hair done, I went to pick Seth up from school (that made 3 visits in one day). We hung out, ate a snack and once dad got home, I got ready for taekwondo. Let me say spin class and tkd in the same day = not a good idea. I made it through though. Went home, had dinner, watched TV, washed bottles..and that was it.

It was a good day except I am worried that the whole shutdown thing will not be resolved quickly :(

Keeping up...

I really am having a hard time keeping up with blogging lately. A LOT has been going on. I am not sure if I mentioned it, but I recently became President of the American Association of Food Safety Veterinarians. I don’t think this position would normally be very stressful, except our main support person took on a new job and has not had time for his position. So in the mist of being new, I’m new and drowning.
Then I recently got elected to a council for the American Veterinary Medical Association. A position that has taken me to Chicago 3 times already this year. Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and wonder what the heck I was thinking about when saying yes to all these things.

Then there is black belt training. I went to another black belt seminar on the 7th. I told Sean that I left the seminar not wanting to cry (I’ll count that as a win). Then I went out of town to Colorado Sept 9th – 13th for training. With all the flooding, I barely made my flight on the 13th. I was soooo happy to be home…until I remembered I signed up for a TKD tournament for the 14th. I actually did pretty ok. I only competed against teenagers, which Sean thinks is impressive. It just makes me feel old. I did get 2nd place in forms (I might have been robbed) and 1st place in power breaking (Sean took a video of this…and other than looking fat I did pretty well).

Seth has been growing like a stinkin weed! Today he moved up to the toddler transition room. This is a room of babies that are 12-14 months old. Babies who either just started walking or are trying to walk. There will be no cribs in this room and they have a scheduled nap along with some other small changes.
His first day in Toddler Transition Room. No, he is not walking, he just has really good balance and stands on his own

Seth has been doing so many new things; it’s hard to mention them all. He walks (assisted) really well, yesterday he pointed for the first time (I almost fainted from the excitement), and we are pretty sure he associates da with Sean and “d” with zeva. It’s a small difference in the two…but it is pretty consistent. He eats pretty well, especially yo-baby yogurt (he LOVES that stuff). I forgot to send some to school once, and the teacher begged me to bring more because Seth would harass other kids thinking it was his yogurt.

Lost...then found..then lost!

The following is a story about a dog I found…

It all started when I was on my way out to pick up some toys for Seth. I frequent facebook buy/sell/trade groups and get steals on toys. Most of Seth’s toys are used..but I swear you wouldn’t know it. So I leave home and as I leave our subdivision I see this dog. There was not an owner in site, so I went in to action.

I jumped out of the car and coaxed the dog in (it really did not take much). I took a pic and headed home. Now keep in mind I had just left the house, so when I showed up again Sean was a bit confused. Then he looked outside and asked why there was a dog in the car. I told him how I found it and was going to locate it’s owner. Now, Sean had just given me an hour to pick up these toys and come back home because he had homework to do. So I can’t imagine what was going through his mind. In spite of this he commended me for being a good samaritan. I posted the pic on a few facebook groups and headed back out (me and the random dog). I did not want to leave it at the house for Sean to have to deal with…so I just took him with me.

I went to a few houses in the subdivision across the street..asking people if they had ever seen the dog. After going to five houses with no luck, I just took him with me. I went to the first house to pick up toys…jumped out the car,  picked up the toys from the porch, left the money….turned around and the dog was sitting in front of me. OH CRAP!!! I left the door to the car open. Now for someone who lost their own dog when I first got her, I realized I did not have the best track record. How sucky would it be for me to lose a dog I just found…20 miles + from where I found him :/

So the dog decided he wanted to pee on everything outside and that he was not interested in getting back in the car. In my near panic state, I decided to use a trick I use on Zeva many times. I offered him a treat I did not have. THAT DID THE TRICK!! He got in the car ::whew::

By this time, I had gotten a few offers for folks to keep him overnight (since I mentioned that I could not). In the end I lucked up. As I was leaving my neighborhood I decided to stop at another house and asked if they had seen this dog…and they did! Right next door to them. I went to the house and the lady cried! She said it was her husband’s dog..and he was deployed. She was happy..and the kids were ecstatic! Good thing I did not lose him :)

Black belt journey

Many of you have followed (and encouraged me) on this journey to get my black belt and the time is approaching where my dream will be realized. I started taking taekwondo in 2010. I visited a few schools and settled on Yongin Martial Arts. It was just something about Master Kim that spoke to me and I knew I would enjoy learning from him.

When I joined, Yongin had only been open for a few months. Soon they started a demo team and I joined. I am no longer a member of the demo team, but that team was sooo fun (even if I was the oldest one on the team). Demo is where I learned all the advanced skills...it always kept me on my toes.

Anyway, I did taekwondo even through my first trimester of pregnancy. After the first trimester I took off until February of 2013(about 9 months total). When I started back it was ROUGH! Not only was I out of shape, but I hated being away from Seth. Sean kept encouraging me, plus I was only one belt away from qualifying to test for my black belt. Well I finally tested last week..and I GOT IT! I am now pre-qualified to test for the black belt. And on Monday I found out this is where the real fun starts.

Between August and November I have to do the following to qualify for my black belt test
  • Complete 100 acts of kindness
  • Run 50 miles
  • Do 3,000 push ups
  • Do 4,500 sit ups
  • Do 30 reps of the 9 forms (each form is at least 18 moves0
  • Do 30 reps of the 8 self defense techniques
  • Do 30 reps of choreographed self defense technique
  • Do a black belt project (usually some type of demo)
  • Do a charity project
  • Get letters of recommendation
  • Attend 2 manual study classes for the written test
  • Attend 3 seminars that review martial art basics
HUH?! Typing it all out just made me anxious all over again. ::deep breath::

All the things above are what I have to do before I take the written test and the physical test. If I remeber correctly, the physical test is about 3-4 hours long.

Every journey starts will one step...

The kissing game....

Why is my son already kissing little girls?! Yes, you read that correctly..lol. It started a few weeks ago. I walk into daycare and the teachers are tripping over themselves to tell me what happened. There is a new girl that started (the only one in a all boys rooms..well the room was not supposed to be all boys it just happened that way). Hannah, is 11 months old and has the MOST beautiful eyelashes and an easy smile for everyone. Very sweet girl. Well one day Hannah glabs Seth's face and gives him a kiss..on his eye. Then she kissed him on the cheek. The teachers said Seth just sat there dumbfounded. There were a few other days where I came in and they said it had happened again...Hannah kissing Seth. They said Hannah always started it (I'm sure that will always be Seth's excuse.."She kissed me").

Until yesterday. They said Seth followed Hannah all around the room (in his two hand clasp, praying army scoot). He caught up with her at one point (it was hard I'm sure... she is 11months) ...and she leaned in close to him...and he opened his mouth for a kiss. She kissed him on the cheek though ::whew:: So yes, Seth has a little girl that he is giving my kisses too :(

In other news, we went to SC recently. Seth got to see his grandmother and his great-great grandmother. Both would eat him with a biscuit.

Great-great grandma is always trying to convince me to leave him. Considering Seth has be protesting his regular bedtime (usually at 7pm but the little rascal has been wild open at 8:30 and not going to bed until 9pm) she would be calling me in two days max to pick him up.
