So this past weekend, Sean surprised me with a trip to Greensboro. First, he would not tell me where we were going, just that it was less than 3 hours away. When we arrived, we had lunch at Southern Lights Bistro. They are known for their tomato basil bisque...and it was indeed great. Then he took me over to the mall so I could get a new outfit. Finally on the way to dinner, I see a billboard for Cirque du Soleil and figure out where we are going...but did not see which Cirque du Soleil it was so it still was a surprise.
Dinner did not go quite as planned, so by the time we got to the gate, we were hoping they took credit cards...they did not. But God was looking over us, and the lady let us through. We made it in time to see the show start.
We saw Cirque du Soleil - Alegria. It was so amazing!!! He got us floor seats on the front row. He actually almost got picked to go up on stage at one point (the guy beside him got picked instead..lol). We had a great time!!
Little did we know, while we were out having a good time, Raleigh was being pounded by a storm. There was damage all over the place but our neighborhood was spared.
